Seven Springs, Hidden Valley, Wisp, and Snowshoe Collaborate on Season Passholder “Resort Swap” Program

October 4, 2011 — Spanning three states and covering a 150-mile radius, some of the most popular resorts in the mid-Atlantic have teamed together to offer their Season Passholders additional value during the 2011-2012 winter season. The Resort Swap program began several years, originally as a collaboration between Wisp Resort, located in Maryland, and Pennsylvania’s Seven Springs Resort and Hidden Valley Resort. This season it expands to include West Virginia’s Snowshoe Mountain Resort. The program represents a successful partnership between four resorts that are owned by independent companies.

Unlimited Season Passholders at Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Hidden Valley Resort, Wisp Resort, and Snowshoe Mountain Resort will each receive one complimentary full-day ski ticket and a 50% discount on regularly-priced ski tickets for any additional visit to any of the other three participating resorts, excluding Saturdays and holiday periods. Off-Peak/Midweek Season Passholders will similarly receive one complimentary full day lift ticket for a Monday or Tuesday and a 50% discount on regularly priced ski tickets for any additional visit Mondays and Tuesdays, excluding holiday periods. Each resort’s Season Passholders will also receive special lodging rates Sunday through Thursday nights, subject to availability and excluding holiday periods.

Participants must have a valid Season Pass at one of the four participating resorts; to receive their free or discounted tickets, they must present this pass at another resort’s Season Pass Office. The resorts note that guests are encouraged to contact each resort prior to arrival to verify eligibility, since operating and holiday schedules can vary across the four resorts.

“Seven Springs is pleased to once again partner with Wisp and Hidden Valley and to welcome Snowshoe to the collaboration,” said Eric Mauck, CEO of Seven Springs Mountain Resort. “We believe this offer will provide our seasons passholders with tremendous value and introduce our mountain and the Laurel Highlands region to a larger audience of dedicated skiers and riders,” he added.
