The countdown clock is down to a month; obviuosly weather dependent. It's probably about 6 weeks to skiing/riding at Loveland and the Basin.

Well, Loveland did not start blowing snow last Saturday night.

However, A Basin just got 2 inches and they plan to start blowing snow this afternoon and evening. I suspect that Loveland will do the same.

The race to see who opens first is on! There should be skiing within 2 weeks,

It appears the Copper was the first Summit County resort to start blowing snow, beating Loveland and A-Basin by a few hours. Now all three are blowing snow. I expect Keystone to start any day since it will need to cover 2300 feet of vert by opening day, October 31. 10/31 is also Copper's opening day.
