Now that the bases are built racing is running all over the region. This is a summary of local racing and feedback is welcome. 

NASTAR - since 1968. Courses are set on medium terrain, 1300 feet, about 12 turns. modified GS. Cost $1 try 6$ 2 runs , 10+ unlimited. Where- Roundtop, Wisp, Blue Knob, Timberline, Bryce, 7Springs, Massanutten. NASTAR.com has a list. Most runs weekends but some dates are not available. Check resort. Best if you can register (free) online then remember your reg id. Age 5+. If you can ski a Blue run linking turns you can race.  The handicap is based on pacesetters vs Olympic racers. Your handicap is the percent below. Great database on-line and team setup.

BIFF Race Roundtop Feb - Charity race. Troegs Beer, food, fun! Kick Cancer's Butt.

ASRA Roundtop Jan 31 - Top to bottom GS  18 Gates and SL. SL about 50 gates. ASRA is a league that runs at resorts in the NorthEast. 25$+ asra.org
