we came out to snowshoe this weekend, getting in on Thursday night.  Friday saw firm conditions and reasonable lift lines. The highlight was the western territory, better snow and zero lift line at all.  I didn't hit lower shays, but it was open.  They may have been making snow over there in the morning, which would explain why the snow was better in the afternoon.

Last night it started warming up and started raining around 5, not good.  At some point overnight it cooled down and switched to snow but not before some significant rain.  Things really froze up overnight, and all the high speed lifts were closed until about 10:30, so the 3 lifts that served the main basin were complete zoos. The slopes were not crowded considering how crowded the lifts were, but that didn't stop a snowboarder from plowing into me on a wide open trail.

All slopes are open with great coverage, but the snow is pretty hard, they could use some natural snow, and we thought we might get some significant snow this weekend but it isn't really panning out that way.
