The 56 year old Tenney Mountain, which closed down ten years ago, is getting a new lease on life after being purchased by the Tenney Mountain Development Group (TMDG), headed by Michael L. Bouchard.  Their website has not been activated but their Facebook Page is full of progress reports indicating an opening this ski season.

Tenney Mountain has 45 trails served by four lifts with a vertical elevation of 1,400 feet.  It is located just West of Plymouth NH, about 5 miles from I-93. about 30 miles South of Cannon Mountain, 25 miles Southwest of Waterville Valley, and 50 miles North of Concord NH.

Together with the ongoing expansion of Cannon Mountain and the (hopefully) soon to be approved expansion at Mount Sunapee, the outlook for Winter sports in New England seems a good possibility.
