I came through I-80 east of Laramie, WY on Friday, and it was 44 degrees, extremely windy, and raining. Could've sworn an ice pellet or two hit the windshield. I'm fairly certain the higher peaks around us were seeing some of the white stuff, although probably not sticking. Quite a shock from the upper 90s we had in Salt Lake City the day before!

I drove through several miles of hail last Monday afternoon in western MD on I-68.  Don't know what the temp was but was in the upper 80s when I left the office just an hour prior.

Well, A-Basin had it;s first snow on 8/24, and what appears to be it's first measurable snow on 8/26. It's a bit early for the white stuff to stick around. It was gone by Saturday.   -- pic attached.
