January 26, 2000: As people dig out of yesterday’s storm, local resorts are reporting the best conditions in years. Some resorts missed the storm entirely, while others picked up a foot of snow. With the natural snow and continued cold temperatures, resorts are able to use terms they haven’t used in several years: 100% open terrain and powder/packed powder conditions.
