Numerous readers have asked if there is any way they can support DCSki, so we have added a way for you to donate money to DCSki. You can donate any amount you feel is appropriate. If you donate at least $20, we will send you an exclusive gift. Think of a donation as an "optional subscription fee."

If you do not wish to donate money to DCSki, there are still other ways you can provide support to DCSki. Please let advertisers know that you saw their ad on DCSki and appreciate their support of DCSki. Feel free to engage in conversations on the DCSki Message Forum -- that's what gives DCSki a "community feel." And let us know your feedback and suggestions.

By donating money to DCSki, you will receive a number of benefits. First and foremost, you will help support DCSki and fund the expenses involved in running the site. For example, during 2004, DCSki's Editor spent hundreds of hours re-writing the site from scratch, and spent over $10,000 on a new server and software to improve the performance of the site. DCSki also underwent a major rewrite during 2007. Since launching in 1997, DCSki has been continuously improved.

But there are additional benefits to donating money to DCSki. We want to provide recognition to readers that help make the site possible, so we offer the following additional benefits.

For each additional $10 you donate (above $20), you can request to receive an additional pin. After making your donation, please send an e-mail to DCSki's Editor, Scott, indicating how many pins you would like to receive. (You can get Scott's e-mail address here.) For example, if you would like two pins, you would need to donate $30. If you donated money in past seasons and do not need any additional pins, please let Scott know, too.

Please allow 1-3 weeks for the pin to arrive, and be sure to specify your correct address when making the donation.

Identification as DCSki Supporter in the Message Forums

If you provide your DCSki Message Forum User Name to us when making a donation, we will update your Message Forum profile to include a special "DCSki Supporter" icon next to your name. Whenever you post a message, this icon will be shown by your name, so that other readers know that you help to make DCSki possible. This icon will be shown for at least 12 months after your donation.

You may donate any amount you feel appropriate to DCSki. To receive a lapel pin and any future Supporter-only features, your donation must be at least $20.
