Sister areas Jack Frost and Big Boulder have received a number of enhancements over the summer. Jack Frost has added a new glade riding area for beginners on the skier’s right of the Snow Flake trail. A new glade park has also been added for snowboarders and freeskiers. The Challenge Slope has been widened, and the glade area on Challenge and East Mountain have been cleaned up.

Peak Resorts, which owns Jack Frost and Big Boulder, has made snowmaking investments with the purchase of 50 new low energy snow guns. A new sound system will allow skiers and boarders to enjoy regional party bands from the slopes. More seasonal lockers have also been installed.

Over at the Big Boulder area, all chairlifts and towers have received a fresh coat of paint. The resort has spent the summer creating new features in the terrain park. The rental fleets at Big Boulder and Jack Frost have also been refreshed with the latest Rossignol and Head skis, snowboards, boots, and bindings.
