For the past 75 years, the arrival of a new Warren Miller ski film has served as the unofficial announcement that winter is coming. Since 1949, these films have captured footage of thrilling ski lines, pristine powder, and the exhilarating beauty of the mountains.

The latest Warren Miller ski film is now being shown at locations across the country. Titled 75, this year’s film continues a two-celebration of the 75-year anniversary. According to the film production company, this year’s film includes storytelling that covers new, rising talent and the future of the sport.

“The film showcases a diverse mix of snowsports icons, Olympic hopefuls, and emerging talents,” said Josh Haskins, Warren Miller producer. “It’s unlike anything we’ve crafted before and is poised to ignite excitement and winter stoke in theaters nationwide this fall.”

Warren Miller, who passed away at age 93 in 2018, founded Warren Miller Entertainment and produced, directed, and narrated films until 1988, beginning a legacy that is carried on today. The production company’s films offer jaw-dropping visuals while telling stories of perseverance, friendship, and the pure joy of skiing. The annual tradition of watching the latest Warren Miller film has become a communal experience for many winter sports enthusiasts, bridging generations of skiers with a shared anticipation for the snow that’s just around the corner.

The 75th Warren Miller film tour kicked off on October 15, 2024 with the world premiere of 75 at the Boulder Theater in Boulder, Colorado, near the company’s headquarters.

The 90-minute film will be shown at the Atlas Performing Arts Center in Washington, D.C. on November 26, 2024. A 7 p.m. showing is sold out, but tickets remained available for a 4 p.m. showing at the time this story went to press.

Additional showings are scheduled throughout the Mid-Atlantic region in the coming weeks, at locations in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Visit the Warren Miller web site for showing locations, ticket information, and availability.
