Hello Everyone, it would be cool if the retail side sent us a list. I know too simple. I take the time to look and update all free.  PLEASE add a link and info here In this forum.

I still need to find a calendar/event Word Press Free plugin. I really want to be able to pull in all the College and public schools off days. For me the days to avoid, since  I have flexibility.  

TODAY Sept 30 / Oct 1 is World Cup Ski and CYCLE in PA 

Here is the current list I have. We cover MD, PA Lower Central, and Nova. 

If you need to find one in your location, search on SKI SWAP and your state. also, look on Facebook. ore reach out to a local ski club and Ski Patrol organizations.

The Calendar format is up and running. At the bottom is a print icon to print out a  calendar grid.

#1  Look ahead - Go to the Originator/SWAP holder and find out the drop-off dates, rules, and restrictions.

#2 Some SWAPS are now STORE CREDIT ONLY.   If you are a  seller and expect a return of cash do your homework.

#3 Adding School Off Days - So far JAN / FEB has  FIVE 3-day weekends. Friday and Mondays may be busy, TUES-THURS may be the days for the least slope traffic. (Only Ba County, plan to use 3 large counties in MD, NOVA, DC suburbs)  This should produce a good composite. 

ANY SWAP Organizer I cannot list unless I have a full link to the details. Partial details cause more work.

FACEBOOK is not the only place since many do not use Facebook. A real URL to a website is best.

EXPECT a few more updates this week.

The Ski Center LTD ski swap and sale on Sunday, Oct. 29, 8am-4pm, benefits the Liberty Ski Patrol.  People who sell something get 100% store credit.

HOW CAN WE HELP SKI PATROL?

Having enough goods and buyers to purchase all those items will be a significant help.  15% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Liberty Ski Patrol to be used for training and educational purposes (even though the seller gets 100% store credit).  Liberty Ski Patrol is a not-for-profit organization.

Massanutten is having a sale and swap on Saturday, Nov. 18, 8:30am-12 noon, at the ski lodge.  Part of the proceeds will benefit the Massanutten Ski and Snowboard Team.
