Kim Williams from the Snow Sports Museum of West Virginia shared details on a planned resort that was never developed:
“Job Knob would have been an incredible resort which was planned by the developers of Snowshoe,” Williams writes. “It would have predated Snowshoe as it was planned to be opened in 1972/73. The prospectus is impressive but due to finances, it was never developed. It had some serious vertical and would have been right next to Tory. Danny Seme (Snowshoe) was the principal developer with backing from Dr. Bingham.”
