all the model runs from this morn have come in stronger..mostly the Euro which shows the lowest or strongest pressure...im thinking 14 for Canaan but more added during the wraparound....then a little more for this weekend.. 20 plus for week....
im picking Camp David (1800') as the jackspot for the main storm...(Thurmont Catacton mountain ,cunningham falls area,)...19 inches...
Whats in your fcast predict?....hope to see ualls actual obs...

Looks like so far it was a bust on the front load of the storm for WV/canaan with only 6"'  ( I could tell just by looking at the Radar/Sat obs early eve yest..the phasing of the 2 systems just didnt look right..)..but the Backside should produce and make it up...thats what the Alpps do!..( storm is just scooting along too fast..)

My Camp David as the DC area Jspot is still holding with at least 10 or so inches and still coming down...it will end up being exactly 19 inches....try to verify!!

on another thead as to where to go for the Dump ,Elk and blue mtn were discussed...I said go to Blue as it was closer to the core of the Dump....so far and still dumping Blue cked in this morn with 16 and Elk at 6...Camelback and other poconos areas cked in with 11 to 14...so far....

Fish, current storm will lay a good base in the glades but what do you think this Fri-Sun will produce?

The latest Euro brings the colder air in slower on Sat...have to watch that as the week goes on for any planning..better idea on weekend planning this time tomorrow..

reminds me of the March blizzard of '93  It was also more than 20 inches at Roundtop.. The morning powder was as fine as any you would find anywhere. That time though it warmed up in the afternoon, and the snow turned heavy.
