SAM Magazine””Gillingham, U.K., March 2, 2018””Chatham Ski and Snowboard Centre, an outdoor dry ski slope in the United Kingdom, was forced to close for two HN chatham ski 3218days at the end of February due to snowfall in Southern England. Yes””snow closed a ski slope. Oh, the irony.

“The centre is currently closed as we have an inaccessible car park and we have to be able to have emergency vehicle access and staff are struggling to get to site. We are cancelling lessons for today and will reschedule,” it said in a statement.

The Centre is normally open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, and has a 200 meter (656 foot) main slope, teaching area, toboggan and tube run, as well as a bar and restaurant.

In December, snow caused another dry ski slope in England to close. Telford Snowboard & Ski Centre closed its slope after snow that had fallen on it turned into ice, making it unsafe to slide on.

An announcement online by the local organization that runs the slope led to some derisive comments, to which a spokesperson responded, “We do appreciate the irony, but sometimes conditions are just against you. Ice skates might be more useful than skis.".

Wonder if this happens down at the one on Liberty University?
