Ordered these replacement outsoles for a pair of regular alpine boots that have worn down and cracked the outsoles. I'm concerned I maybe ordered the wrong product. Do these have the same release functionality as the harder stock outsoles? These are softer/grippier rubber, for hiking I assume. Hoping these do not require an AT binding.

depending on the binding type part of the release function is sliding of the boot on the surface. I think these are a no go but

have a shop check the bindings for release
