Seven Springs Mountain Resort is located in Seven Springs, Pennsylvania, not far off the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Seven Springs is an hour east of Pittsburgh.
One of the most popular resorts in the region, Seven Springs offers a diverse collection of slopes, trails, and glade areas. Thanks to its location, Seven Springs is blessed with an average annual snowfall of 135 inches, which it supplements with aggressive snowmaking. The resort features seven terrain parks, which have received accolades as among the best on the East Coast.
Two 6-seater high speed lifts help shuttle visitors efficiently to the top of the slopes. The resort runs a strong Snowsports School, providing a wide variety of professional instruction for skiers and boarders of all ages. While the skiing and snowboarding are great, Seven Springs is a true destination resort, providing a wide variety of activities on- and off-slope including the largest snow tubing park in the region, a full-service spa, year-round sporting clays, bowling, miniature golf, two arcades and an indoor pool. In the spring, summer, and fall, Seven Springs offers a full canopy tour, a zipline course, an 18-hole golf course, a large outdoor pool and much more.
For the 2021-2022 winter season, Seven Springs has swapped out its old Avalanche chairlift with a new, state-of-the-art Doppelmayr fixed grip quad. The resort also made snowmaking improvements to its already-impressive system with the addition of 30 new HKD snowmaking towers.

November 22, 2024 - Vail Resorts offers a variety of Epic Passes - providing unlimited, multi-day, or single-day skiing at ski resorts across the country - but the opportunity to buy one of these passes will soon come to an end when they go off sale on December 2, 2024.
October 27, 2024 - Seven Springs Mountain Resort has debuted an exhibit in its Main Lodge celebrating its history, featuring vintage artifacts and photos in partnership with the Pennsylvania Snowsports Museum and Vail Resorts. Showcasing its transformation from a family farm to a renowned Mid-Atlantic ski destination, the exhibit will be regularly updated with new displays.

March 21, 2024 - Vail Resorts has begun selling its line of Epic Pass products for the 2024/2025 winter season, even as lifts continue running at many of its properties across the U.S. A range of passes is available to Mid-Atlantic skiers and boarders including the Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass, Northeast Value Pass, and Epic Day Pass.

December 21, 2023 - Pennsylvania’s Laurel Mountain and Whitetail Resorts will both begin their winter season at 9 a.m. on Saturday, December 23, 2023, just after Hidden Valley and Roundtop Mountain Resorts open for their season on Friday. Virginia’s Omni Homestead Resort will also open its ski slopes on Saturday.
