We have not had much snow in NOVA last few years, so I am hoping we get a dump or two .  .  .

Where are your local hills.  Did once or twice at Drainsville and Hiddenbrook in Herndon at my local "dead man's hill." Looking for other spots in Western FFC or Eastern Loudoun.

Thanks.

When I first read your post I thought “ well I know of a spot or two but their not that big”

then I see the very cool post about the “back country... er subdivision in Leesburg and it cracked me up and amazed me with the pictures!

lake Fairfax park has a very good hill from the cricket field down, theirs also other areas in the park.

other potential spots are in Great Falls on paths that take you too the river, one at the end of Weant dr, one at end of Seneca rd both areas have woods to run also.

as they say pictures are worth a 1000 words, I wish it were easier to post pictures on here

My spot, that I've only hit a couple times. This is near Whitetail.

When I lived in Fairfax, I would ski spots at Manassas Battlefield, Sky Meadows State Park and other lessers. Twas never great, but almost always worth getting out.
