Those dates seem pretty early compared to recent seasons or am I wrong about that? I haven't really followed the Sierras' conditions this year, but it didn't seem like they were getting much snow in the middle of the season. Folks on Skitalk were complaining that they had a 3 week stretch where they got almost no snow.
For Diamond Peak the last day is the second Sunday in April so it is on-target; we've actually had really nice days some spring skiing and on Saturday I liked the firmer surface with blue-bird days. My Lusti RFC's are wicked-good I finally got into a good Euro body-carve position and put both my inside AND outside hands down on the snow !!! W00t!
I guess I'm talking more about Squaw and Alpine Meadows. They both seem to have early closing dates. Maybe not.
