Weather does what it wants, I can see out to 32 days but those models dance daily.
Locally to PA/MD Line:
I go by the 30 year average of opening day. That range early is Thanksgiving and late is the first week of January.
Sweet Spot is Mid December for an average. Closing dates early to late March.
For the early base, I look for 50 to 75 hours of snowmaking with 3 good days and nights of snowmaking is all it takes to get open.
