I found the percentage of people buying lift tickets interesting, as opposed to using some sort of a season pass.

From the NSAA press release on May 22, 2024:

" . . . Season pass holders made up 50% of visits nationally, with standard or multi-day lift tickets claiming 31% of visits.  . . ."

Exactly what the people in survey in 2017-18. "said they wanted)"multi pass and frequent passes 1-6 days.

total of 81%.  Plus a lot of funds come in early.  

In return Billion in new lifts and lift upgrades/replacements. 

And pay raise from 14 hr. to 20 in many job titles.

 Funny because all people do now is complain about Vail Resorts and the Epic Pass.
