The boys, ages 26 and 20, skied from the summit.  It’s 8 miles, 8000 vertical feet from the trailhead.  Many claim Shasta to be the greatest ski mountain in North America; 14k feet, 360 degrees of skiing, glaciers but lacking crevasses .  I started all 3 of them skiing as little kids.

thought a little bragging would be ok in the quiet season.

I woudl bragg.  It does look stunningly imposing.  I like this series - Cody Townsend of "the 50"...
