I learned today that Les Otten, of American Ski Company fame (Vail before Vail), lives in Dixeville Notch, NH.

The place that famously votes first! Interesting. And the vote tied so this is not a political post!

Still waiting for Les’s ambitious plans for The Balsams to move forward. The next year or 2 will make or break his dream. If it proceeds, as planned, it would be, by far, the largest ski resort on the east coast.
