(Latest update 11:00 a.m. on Monday March 17.)
Well ... it seems to have been a better-than-average season for much, if not all, of the Mid-Atlantic, based on available snowmaking windows and the natural snowfall most areas received. Hooray for that!
Several ski areas in the region have closed for the season. Below, I'm posting an update from what I could find online as of approx. 9:00 a.m. Saturday March 15. Last updated ~ 11:00 a.m. on Monday March 17.
Applies to snowsports only, not special or warm-season events. Be sure to check first before heading out to the slopes!
Additions, updates, and corrections are welcome.

Still thinking snow,

Great to have a list! Another regional forum I'm active on has been compiling a list for years and it's nice to have as a reference after the fact.
Not that it really matters, but Massanutten opted to be closed on Sun, March 16, because of the stormy weather. High winds? Rain? I'm out west so not looking at VA/NC weather this week.
Thanks marzNC and 19th. I’ll update the list.

Great list! Just back from 6 days in colorado but i may finish my season up with a last day at Mnut next weekend.
I agree it has been a great season locally but I do miss the days when Timberline would be open thru the end of March.
Since the end of February, the weather has been bad for ski areas. Below is a clip from the HV webcam on Saturday afternoon. The snow looks ugly but note that there are no skiers in the clip. It was the best ski season in many years. Unfortunately, the weather pattern changed at the end of February and it killed late season ski conditions. I am hoping to squeeze in a late trip out west?
Agree, had many powder days on first weekend in April/Final Four weekend.

Updated 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 17.
Bryce, Snowshoe, Montage, and Camelback plan to remain open weekdays March 17-20/21 (yay!). Several additional areas plan to reopen March 20 or 21 for the weekend.
I'm not sure about some others. As always, check with the area(s) first before hitting the road.

Agree, and based on the WebCams this morning, they are going to need to push around a lot of snow to reopen for this weekend. With another warm week, it doesn’t look good.

Massanutten might have on-paper plans to open one last time this weekend, but it looks like it got pretty wrecked by last night's storming, so I doubt there's going to be any terrain left to support that by the end of the week.

Was at Bryce Saturday 3/15 and it was still 100% open. There were a couple thin spots but also places with 6 feet base. They will easily make next weekend.
They were not 100% open today, Hangover was closed. Good coverage (some narrow spots) on the rest of the trails.
They should make it to this weekend easily.
