Good afternoon DC Ski!

I'm currently in the process of organizing a Mid-Atlantic meetup of all ages/skill levels for Saturday February 7th at Timberline Mountain in West Virginia.  Date/Venue subject to change (CV may offer a more organized meetup).  Gauging interest level from some local ski heads like yourselves who have always shown support over the seasons.  DC Ski was one of my main inspirations for beginning my own Mid-A focused skiing channel.  I'd love to bring members of the community together to talk all things Mid-A skiing, and ski with everyone.  Maybe giveaways and lunch provided.  I know we're a rare bunch being enthused about our niche corner of the mountain.  Let me know if any members would be interested!

Cheers all, to a great season ahead.

Sincerely,

Mark Walecka "ADHski"

Sounds like a plan.  Since I'm retired now from ski school from both mountains and from my real job and live here at the base of Timberline, I'd be able to join up.  Saturdays at Timberline is usually crowded but CVR is hassle free and if we have good natural snow is my choice.  But it's up to the group.

Thanks,

Kim

Way to keep up the tradition!  If you give something away for free a lot of folks may come out of the woodwork :-)  Quite a few people that ski The Valley follow this website.  I'll be out west at the time and unfortunately can't join-in.

I think CV may offer a better "meetup" area, the parking lot is almost never near capacity, even on a Saturday.  I'll probably end up moving it there, that's been the general response from everyone!
