Question for those who frequent TL.

If you had to pick 2 consecutive days to ski from M - F, which 2 would generally be the least crowded?

I'm contemplating a 60+ Silver Pass to go along with my Creek / Midweek at SS. I want to alternate mid-week trips between SS and TL 2X per month.

My experience is at SS and Tue / Wed / Thu are always the least crowded - with M and F usually not too bad. I'm assuming a similar pattern at TL but thought it would be wise to ask.

Thoughts???

I have never waited more than a minute or two midweek. Fast lift eats up the lift line. The chili is good in the lodge too :-).  My experience with parking is great at Timberline too.

Not only a fast line, a 6-pack.  I've never ridden with more than 4 people on that lift midweek.

For someone without a Timberline pass who is planning on skiing more than one day, to make best use of the credit for midweek skiing, buy one ticket at a time.  Can apply the credit from the previous day to the second day ticket.  There is also a credit for skiing less than 4 hours.  The third credit I've used is for starting after 12:30.  So if I drive from Massanutten early in the week and stay overnight, the first day I ski in the afternoon and get three credits.  I can use that and any other credit from the previous season the next day towards a lift ticket and food.

Looks like the midweek credit has gone up to $20.  That implies that Mondays are also not busy.

Timberline is having the annual Bonus Gift Card sale.

Note that people who live close to Perfect North in Indiana sometimes make the drive to Timberline during late season.  The fact that WV has a longer spring season was a factor for the interest by the Perfect Family.  They purchased Swiss Valley relatively recently.

My data is out of date by 2-3 years, but Friday afternoons could have a bit of a rush hour. AM’s, nada. Rest of week, empty.
