As of 12:47pm this afternoon the live cam at Timberline showed several groomers working up the stretch of Salamander for as far as the picture would show. I'm assuming this is VERY good news for the weekend or the beginning of next week!!

Is it me, but does the webcam pic for Timberline show a VERY well groomed lower salamander... or at least what is shown in the camera's view anyway? Does that mean Salamander will open next week?

Could you be confusing Crossroads with lower Salamander? Salamander becomes Crossroads at the end.

The pic I downloaded does show snowcats at the Crossroads area, but further back up than that I can barely see a snowcat moving around. Could be that they are just moving excess snow back off of crossroads?
