Ok finally the DC area is set to get some significant snowfall. I was wondering what all the other weather nuts like me are predicting.

My Prediction- Moderate snowfall on sat (2-4 inches) then about the same for saturday night. Then with the costal storm on sunday anywhere from 4 to 14 inches. My guess is it will be a lot like the large storm that hit our region in 2002. Also, i am still very skeptical if this costal storm will form on saturday night and if it does how close to the coast it will be. Also, lets hope no warm temps find their way into our region because rain-snow would be no fun!

Please post your guesses!!!

I will make no predictions...for fear of upsetting the snow gods. Now where did I put my face paint, chickens, and rum? Let the snow dance begin!!!

I predict it will rain uncontrollably. All remnants of snow will disappear and the season will end. But thank you Ullr for the one day of snow we had.

I will toast Ullr with a tasty brew and pour some onto a patch of snow.

Well. I hope I don't burst everyones bubble. I decided not to stay over in Spain an extra day ( where I am now) because the warm weather followed me here. The slope I was going to go to is down to 8-14 inch base and barely open. Last night they were showing no slopes open, so I decided to bail and not spend the extra $$$$ this trip. Particularly since its supposed to be so good back home. However, this is sure to jinx the whole thing. Hey maybe I can find a virgin to fly home with me!!
