Cupp is open!

As it is reported on their website, Upper and Lower Cupp Run are both open today! What a surprise!
Upper Shay's is slated to open Tues. 12/10.
Let it snow!
Just got back from Snowshoe this weekend 12/6 - 12/8 and it was a blast. Only about 1/3 of the regular crowds and the place was close to 100% open. Great conditions and a great time.
The top half of Shay's Revenge at Snowshoe is set to open on Monday, as well. Is it really December??
Well the first they said cupp would open on saturday, and then bumped it up, now shay's has been bumped a day! The conditions are so awesome right now, which means they'll still be excelent in march! Last year when i went, they weren't too bad, and it was a horrible year! this year is gonna be awesome! plus if the temps stay low, that fresh snow will be a nice treat for winter camping!
