What WV mountain / resort is this?

I suspect Tory Mountain.

Located about 8 miles SSE of Canaan, due south of Harmon. Looks to be on the slopes of Brierpatch Mt.

Looks like cleared trails, but no infrastructure. Is this private property?

Those are, in fact, the trails of Tory Mountain. Looks like the summit of Job Knob was the top of the ski area.

I'm just curious...What's the story of Tory mountain?

From what I've heard they cut the trails and were working on installing water and power. There was snowcat skiing there for a little while, maybe part of one season. One of the older issues of Wild, Wonderful WV Magazine had a picture of people skiing there. Then the money ran out I guess
