After reading through the Porte Crayon thread, I was trying to find information on Tory and Laurel Creek clubs and happened upon this site at a development company, which includes several renditions of the Club and actual proposed trail map.

Cool find. Flipping around his site, this is the guy who wants to overhaul Powder Mountain in Utah, currently one of the last undiscovered gems in the state. They are raising a small ruckus out there over their plans.

If you drive around West Virginia at all, you can see the remains of the Laurel Club off of Route 150, the Highlands Scenic tour, out to the southwest of Snowshoe. It appears the ski resort was set way back off the main roads.
