How many ski days do you have?

I have 10. So far I have skied Ice, Crud, Slush, moguls, corn, marbles, baby heads, Sun Cup, washboard, and reef. All on just 4 slopes and 400' of vertical. So far I haven't needed any of the technical apparel I bought. A tee shirt would have been fine.
I think I have earned a vacation.
I only managed to get in 4 days of skiing thus far this winter. Would've been at least two more if not for the fact I had to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled, then by the time I recovered from that, the conditions pretty much went to hell. For example, I had every intention of getting some turns in over Christmas weekend, but no such luck.
Unfortunatly, Massanutten had to close until they can make snow again (look at thier
snow condition page). At least season passes will be good at the Water Park in the meantime.
I have managed to bag this many ski days so far this season:
What, me bitter? Certainly not!
YESSSSSS!!!!! I'm not in last place. Although I'm just one step ahead with ONE day online 3 weeks ago.
Five. All at Killington, including one day in a downpour.
This is entirely off topic, but Otto, every time I see your name I'm instantly thinking of long black haired pot smoking Simpson's character. lol I just can't help it.
5 days at Timberline over Christmas week.
Tromano you are core! I don't know about the vacation but you've earned my admiration. Your dedication is deep, much deeper than mine. I've got two on those same four runs. I'll not be getting out anytime soon.
Hey Crush! There's apparently a whole line of us coming out to Utah starting the 6th of January straight through to about the 27th. Seems like snow has been a little thin this year- how's it been? Have we just been spoiled by the last two winters?
I've got one so far, November 4th at Loveland. Could have done two more days at the beginning of December but with Christmas finances it didn't work out. Mid Feb trip to Taos is on and probably a first week of spring trip to Wolf Creek or maybe Copper Mountain. We'll see. I think including Park City that'll do it for this winter... tentatively 12 total ski days? But memorable ones, all of them!
Hey E, easier to remember how many dayz you didn't ski
Never enough, some pretty dayz tho, lots of sunshine, i love spring skiing... monday the drop was bumped and all corned up soo sweet and tuesday we kept going back to see if that one little soft spot that wasn't frozen had freezeded over yet
, what a way to get in shape, very loud.
5 in Colorado.
Copper, Keystone & A-Basin
I wanted to have a few at T-line by now, (haven't we all)
Hopefully will have at least 7 more out west coming up.
Well,
So far, I have 6 days which were during the Christmas break at Snowshoe
Like has been said on another thread, the skiing was bar FAR better than I expected given this weather

I feel guilty saying this especially after seeing Scott's post.... 13
Clay
2 so far with a mandatory 5 upcoming in less than 4 weeks. Roll on Utah.
12
-all at Timberline-almost half of them were in the rain
Groan......my Advantage card should be called my DisAdvantage Card
2
1 Opening Day Liberty and 1 at Roundtop last week
Yeah, mine were all there too... I didn't mention the rain part - I'm trying to keep a positive vibe going
Clay
Edited for clarity: I don't mean to imply that YOU are not keeping a positive vibe, just that I am on a mission. I am not talking about warm weather or rain and I am continuing to wear my winter coat no matter HOW stinking warm it get here in middle VA. I will continue to do this until the cold weather returns...
Yeah, I am glad people are still getting out! You guys rock.
I only have 3 ski days at this point -- two at Wintergreen (one in rain) and one at Snowshoe (yesterday) that was quite good. This time last year I was up to eight days. I am already thinking about adding a week-long Vermont trip (or perhaps out West) to get on track for my desired 25-30 days this year.
Maybe we need to have a DCski support group trip out west or something!
Same as Scott - 0. Work, family and weather. Still the money season for me. I typically avoid Xmas/New Year's week like the plague (unless the skiing is epic.)
But I'll be catching up very soon (double fisting both Winter and Summer Beer); a monthly trip to Utah each of the next five months. Plus some Whitetail, Timberline, Wisp and hopefully Blue Knob thrown in.
A big, fat, round zero for me. I had the opportunity to get out to Seven Springs on opening day but missed it due to a migraine and haven't really been interested since.
2 days - 1 at Loveland and 1 at Massanutten. Going to Colorado the end of February or early March for a week. Might have to a take a weekend trip sooner if things don't improve here. They're talking about some snow the middle of next week, hope they're right!!
I have 0. But I am in Limon, CO, 90 miles east of Denver, and I'm here for 2 weeks. Hope to have at least 10 by the end of that 2 weeks, at least 6 mountains (3 never skied before), and a lot of miles on my new truck.
34 days on snow....and before you say I worked most of those. I rack up more vert on my work days then you guys do in an entire day. Trust me:).
so why are you guys still in the Mid-alantic?;)
What are you doing in Limon Roy? Anything to do with helping to rescue cattle?

Being old, un-hip and not very ski technical, your post left me wondering what "baby heads", "sun cup" and "reef" were.
Oh, 3 short days on the same baby heads, sun cup and reef!
8, going on 9 tomorrow.
Half out west, half in the Mid-A.
30 and opening day was the only decent one so far.
4... 3 @ Jackson Hole & 1 @ Grand Targhee. Having been spolied there, why even attempt to ski here.
Just a hunch, but I believe this Monday-Tuesday event will bring at least 3 inches of snow @ elevation (above 2200 feet).
Only 4 so far - should have been many more. It was just too crowded or bad weather.
