Took the family back to Smuggs again this year, January 6-13 in the middle of the heat wave. Not much snow, rained 2 days AND WE STILL HAD A GREAT TIME! I am absolutely blown away by this place. We have a 3 and 5 year old and they cry when its time to come back to Va. Sorry to sound like an advertisement, but if you have kids, go to Smuggs. Also, the terrain is awesome for adults as well, even in the worst possible conditions.

We are going for the first time this year. Spendinbg two days at Smuggs, then driving south and spending two days at Okemo. With an 8 year old and a 7 year old, I should be able to do a good compare/contrast between them! Did you see anywhere I could get some coupons for $$$ off of Smuggs lift tickets? We are good for the adult tickets for Okemo, but bothing else so far.

I think everone knows of my luv for smuggs. It does seem to be a luv or hate it kind of place though.

I think you gotta love it right now with 40 - 50 inches of fresh!!!
