I will be at Wintergreen both Saturday and Sunday. Will be wearing my red/black ski jacket, black pants, dark blue helmet, and of course with red ribbons hanging from my gloves to alert fellow DC Skiers.
I still think the red ribbon thing will work, but I need a wider ribbon.
Hope to see some of you at Wintergreen! but where are you going to be....and do not forget a fade proof red ribbon.

Loading the truck as I write this!
I'd still like to see some sort of coat/jacket made with a good 12" DCSki.com logo emblazed on the back of it. My logic is, on cold days in lift lines, you mostly see the backs of everyone. Then if you see a big DCSki.com logo on the back of someones coat, just yell out to the DCSkier and establish quick contact.

Hey if anyone is at wisp cheer on the penn state ski team. There is a collegiate race there on saturday and sunday. I am going to be goign close to last as a result of a bad selection ot of a hat but will be in a black coat (PSU ski team), silver helmet, skiing yellow atomic skis, and have a yellow stripe on my black pants!
I'm thinking about Whitetail because they're advertising having everything but Fanciful open by Saturday.
Is there a less-busy day to go on the weekend? I'm usually a midweek skier so I can't stand crowds.
I don't know about Whitetail particularly, but I have always found Sundays to be less crowded than Saturdays at most resorts. I don't know if it's because people have too much apres ski on Saturday and don't make it back on the hill or if some people don't go after church, but if I can only ski one day a weekend, I pick Sunday if I can.

Leaving for killington 4am sunday for sum midweek fun.
I may finally get on the hill this weekend. Paid for a season pass and have used very little as compared to past years. I need the downhill routine.

Should be nice conditions. Vermont has been getting some recent lake effect (Champlain) snowfalls. Looks like it will be cold, but not the current dangerously cold temps/wind chills.
You have to hit up Mad River for one of the days. Not that long a drive from K-Mart.
Whitetail Sunday AM.
Not sure about Saturday. May do a day trip to Wisp.
7Springs Saturday 9:00am. WOOHOO!!

Harrington Manor or Whitegrass on Saturday. Wisp or TL or Canaan on Sunday.
Going to Winterplace Sunday evening and Monday. Been wanting to check it out for a couple of years; hopefully we'll make it this time. Heard they have a lot groups on the weekends so we're planning on skiing on Monday.
I've been lobbying really hard for MRG, giving them the old it's one of the places u have to ski before you die if you call yourself a skier bit, looks like snow for them early next week no excuses I'll really be twisting arms now

.
Jimmy,
Drove back from Vt. last night. It snowed every day this past week. Conditions in Vt. are shaping up nicely. I got lots of fresh tracks this past week. Conditions should be prime next week. MRG is probably a bit thin, but has finally got a base and should be getting better every day. Just remember that moss is skiable. I didn't get a chance to ski MRG this time up to Vt, but I'll be heading back up in a month to ski it. It's a not to miss kind of place.
