We drove up to Timberline last night. Here's the weather deal as of 6AM here in the Valley.

Temp - 5
Wind - yes
New Snow - best guesstimate 5-6" yesterday and last night
Fine powder.

Probably a little too cold to take my 5 year skiing this morning. I'll probably wait until we make our forecast high of 14 degrees today (adjusted for global warming of course) before heading out. Another 1-2" of fresh expected tonight (the Canaan snow bowl effect should hopefully turn that forecast into another 5") . Tomorrow's high forecast to be 7.

Looking forward to lots more open terrain this weekend!

I'd like to add that there is between 14-18" of natural snow on the ground -- the top half of that being powder and the bottom half heavier condensed snow. Come and enjoy
