is dolly sods skiable?

or any other backcountry terrain in the valley? saw this picture and started to drool about making laps on a pow day

Dolly Sods? Not downhill-skiable, no. There's the Laneville Pipeline, though, right after a storm.
You hike? You should get up there and scope the Sods out in the summer. Great place. You'll see it's pretty flat though.
I have been scoping out all kinds of line in various places in the valley area. The sods may be too rocky to alpine. I hike there often and one would need serious cover to nordic off the beaten trail as well.
On the other hand, I scoped out a serious line this past weekend behind my place on Bonner Mtn. It has clear glades and ample vert. All I have to do is mark the bottom to have it come out on rt 32 so I can catch the "lift" back up.
