Hate it hot.
October 5, 2007
Whatever we have done to deserve this hellacious heat we must repent by sacrificing a virgin to Ulhr.
That 106 on Wednesday almost killed me. Then I noticed that on the weather underground site, the Pointy knob wunderground station was only 79. Besides, unless you have summertime toys, the heat is BORING!
well i woke up this morning in the valley freezing. 53F right now. I gotta remeber to shut the windows before I crash!
I guess a hell of a storm brought the cold front in the other day because I noticed the power had been out, the stuff on my deck was all over the place and my satellite dish needed to be re-aligned
There has been absolutely no respite here in Kansas. Temps moved into the mid 90s early last week, upper 90s at the end of the week and have now decided they're going to lolly-gag in the low 100s at least through Wednesday. The ten day forecast is a case study in misery. Thank goodness we at least got some rain four days ago.
Summer is going out with a bang this year, that's for sure.
I love having about 2800ft in elevation here in the mountains of SW VA, when the lowlands are baking in the 90's and 100's, we may get to 90 on a really hot day. We've done that a time or two this year. Today was great, maybe 85 tops
Almost two months after I made the first post on this "hot" topic and it's still too damn hot! 93 yesterday in Downtown Culpeper. I remember on 10/10/79.... we had 6-10" of heavy wet snow here. I may be geezing a little, but in those years we didn't have relentless hot weather into October.(that I remember)
It's that GW thing again.
It's that GW thing again.
Don't talk about GW on this forum....certain people may come out of the shadows...
It's gonna be 90 again here in KC. Fall is taking it's own sweet time to get here this year. Unfortunately, being in the midwest, winter and summer have been known to conspire and give fall a leap on some years. I won't be the least bit surprised if it snows before Halloween here. On the other hand, I won't be the least bit surprised if it is 90 on Halloween, either. In the midwest, the "average" temperature means very little this time of year.
yeah but the last few weeks its been pretty sweet fall weather. i think there is a little thing called "indian summer" that we have been experiencing the last few days. thats my story and im stickin to it
Blaming the heat on the Indians was a racially insensitive comment Crunchy.....shame on you!... Chief Al Sharpstone will tighten you up!
