"Well, it has happened, and about 5 years sooner than I expected. Grandson Conor has skied Tuckerman. On Fri. Conor and my son-in-law Jim climbed up to the bowl, then ascended and skied the Left Gully, attached picture. This was so much fun that they climbed it again, traversed a bit to the south and descended Hillman's Highway. From there they skied down Sherburne Trail about halfway back to Pinkham Notch, where they had to take off their skis because the snow ended. I knew Conor could ski it, but fool that am, was unsure about his stamina for the climb. I could not have done what he did in one day. He climbed between 4500 and 5000 vertical feet. This is a 10 year old 65 lb. kid! Denis"
