Was just reading about the "Epic Season Pass" offered by Vail Resorts which, for $579, will provide unlimited skiing next season at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Heavenly, and Arapahoe Basin. It's unrestricted with no blackout dates.

This seems like a pretty good deal (and makes me wish I lived in Colorado). If one made two trips to Colorado in a season, it might pay off.

I heard folks talking about this on the lifts when I was at Vail last year. They are pumped for it and it should drive folks to the hill.

Then again driving to the hill will be the issue this year! \:\)

Thanks for posting this Scott, that's an awesome deal!

This year is out for me, what with a wedding in El Salvador in November, but I'm watching the seasons passes closely. Next winter I'll probably get the Loveland or Keystone/A-Basin/Breck seasons pass (and get one for Sandra, too), because it takes about six ski days to pay that pass off! And even though it's a nine hour drive, it's a very, very easy drive from KC to Denver. It's not hard to drive, or take a Kincaid bus tour (http://www.kincaidcoach.com/ski.php), or join the local ski club, and make a few trips out to Colorado each year at a pretty reasonable price.

In other words, it's passes like this that cause so many Texans to show up in Colorado! \:\)
