I had heard rumors that upper management from the Dupre era (at Seven Springs) were none too happy with the Nuttings (LHC; remember our last phone conversation), and here is proof positive...

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if a few more followed.

All those long suffering homeowners at HV are in for a thrill ride the next few years.
I guess that let's everyone know how serious they are about doing it right
With this hire, I hope the DCNR now realizes Buncher is truly a legit ski operator.
Murphy's Law I suppose....I post my first post-Buncher negative comment and they go and do something like this.
Thanks for the link Dave -- I definitely consider this a good move...though Scanlan's shoes would be pretty big to fill.

A bit of a wild attempt to tie various things together, but does anyone know how involved Mr Bender was in the Springs at LM venture?
I believe as a long time pro-skier the Laurel Highlands made itself more attractive to a lot of investors and the tourism industry (Ligonier & LM) for the area. The Nuttings are a true business oriented family and they not only have the connections but also a vision for a new area at the springs. Like we always teach at business schools.....competition can help everyone in the game.
I will be skiing in Switzerland the next three weeks at SAS (SKI ACADEMY SWITZERLAND). I will let it give another perspective why we like the winter.....smile.

I got the e-mail from 7S about the new CEO but I didn't know Bender went to HV. That should help tremendously. I always said that 7S was a first rate operation and I'm sure Mr. Bender had a lot to do with that.
The only thing that both HV and 7S lack is LM's terrain.
