Snow in Utah
September 5, 2008
We got about 1" of rain over the weekend. Above 8000' it was snow. I was in DC over the long weekend and going from the tropical storm moisture and stepping off the plane into 45 degrees it definitely felt like fall in UT. Its coming.
Meanwhile, we got Hanna about to pay the Mid Atlantic a visit as a tropical storm, and four other tropical storms transitioning into hurricanes possibly making their way up here.
I'm still crossing my fingers for a repeat of Wilma... the first "snowicane' I've ever seen.
... you guys knew i'd comment and you guys knew i'd say :
f&*k ! and i moved away because of why ?
oh well at least i have my sailboat to keep my mind off it until ski season is here ...
Let's add "no sunspots in August" to list of things that might lead to a good winter here!
aaron
Be careful what you wish for... You want Wilma, you may get Ivan...
wooooo Ivan-snowicane!! lol
Here in Kansas today the high was... 59. Our average low is 62 this time of year. I think tomorrow we might get back to 70. So was it snowing in Utah? It snowed in CO two weeks ago, it's d*&m cold here, sounds about right to me!
