Thanks PJ, i'm more interested in uphill downhill, i figure i'll need to spend some time on the snowfarm though to get the hang of things at first. Right now my freeheel gear is Chili's mounted on old pair of carving skis and synergy boot which is prolly too much boot for Whitegrass? So 75mm best for me i guess, HIGH volume nine might be to big.

That just might work for me (boots will be close but who is complaining;)

Thanks!

That sounds like a plan, 3 pin binding? I will find some boots. You coming to 7springs this weekend? You know you want to, ski season doesn't starts until you go skiing.

Well, I was planning on having my wife use my Karhu Pavos, if I could find her some 75mm boots. But if you have the ski/binding, then maybe it'll be easier to find SNS boots for her.

But, like everyone else, I'm trying to find the wider skis.

Ditto on the back channel shout out this weekend. PJ, what might you have for a 215lb geezer size 10 by way of X-C gear. I can't tele worth crap so maybe just some old touring stuff. If Garrett meets up with B-WinPA and they want to hike back and ski Laurel I'd sure be tempted but I would rather find an old alpine trekker set up. Those two youngsters will kill me if I try to keep up.

I was up on Laurel after the first lake effect dump. I didn't take skis but I wished I had. Drifts knee deep in places and a good 6+ on the open trails. Denis' junk snowboard halves would have been the ticket that day.

I'll be heading to Hidden Valley for some free skiing next weekend, can't beat the price.
