People never cease to amaze me...

Thanks for the link -- that provided a great laugh. I'm glad that person wasn't on the same chair as me when I rode that same lift several weeks ago. Would have been a bit awkward.

I just referenced the story as a comment in J.R. Patten's recent Vail trip report, too. Seems like a quintessential "misadventure." Ouch.

And it only took seven or eight minutes to get him down......after they stopped laughing!

I've been following this story on Epic and TGR since last week, but the reaction of the NBC news hosts in that video really cracked me up.
