For those of you who don't mind driving 15 to 20 minutes from HV or 7S, a new restaurant just opened called TreeTops. Here is the official website and a review:

Anyways, the food & ambiance was outstanding (BYOB). Entrees ranged from $18 - $28. It is definitely worth the drive.

The chef at Treetops, Mark Henry, recently retired from the Oregon Grill, a high end restuarant in Baltimore County horse country. I had a few special ocasion dinners there and they were outstanding. The prices seem a little more reasonable at Treetops. I did not see any mention of wine in the review, so maybe you bring your own wine? If so, bringing your own wine is a money saver. I look forward to giving it a try.
I assume you have tried "Out of the Fire Cafe".

Haven't tried Out of the Fire Cafe. Wife has been pestering me to get there. On the list.
Given its setting, Treetops has the potential to become something special in the Laurel Highlands. For now, it is BYOW, but if you forget or don't know it is BYOW, they serve you your choice of Pennsylvania wine free of charge.
