Snow falling in Summit; winter storm watch on
November 13, 2009
"Heavy snow has started falling in Summit County as a predicted winter storm finally arrived Friday afternoon.
"A winter storm watch has been issued for Denver from Saturday afternoon through late Sunday afternoon with forecasters predicting snow accumulations from 6 to 12 inches.
The National Weather Service said snow is now falling over the north central Colorado mountains north of Interstate 70.
Snow is expected to continue through this evening in the mountains with the highest accumulations over the Park and Gore Ranges including Rabbit Ears Pass."
We start skiing next Wednesday. It might actually be pretty good.
