Thanks Colonel and same to you. I'm in VT with daughter & grandsons. A few places, Stowe, Killington, Sugarbush made snow several weeks ago. There has been little or no opportunity since. This has not slowed some of my friends,

While I love to ski, the sport most associated with Thanksgiving where I grew up (eastern Massachusetts) is high school football. All the biggest traditional rivalries are played on Thanksgiving morning. My mother enjoyed this as much as us kids. The game was at 10 and we would be out of the house and out of the way, so she could cook without kids underfoot, until early afternoon. When we came home and opened the door the smells were heavenly.
