Hey folks,

My wife and I just moved from NH to Roanoke, VA and are eager to get out on the slopes. Can't believe there has been so much snow here this year! The locals keep blaming us...we just say your welcome

We are planning a trip of some sort in early march (likely 5-7 2-3 days skiing)...had some questions and seeking some advice?! Thinking about avoiding snowshoe...seems like a trap

- How close are timberline and canaan valley to each other? Easy enough to hit both in a long weekend?

- Is there a good central B&B (or a town to aim for) to access both of these? Wife prefers B&B. Any suggestions helpful

- Discount tickets available anywhere for either?

- Have been to most New England resorts and might be able to give advice to folks in that neck of the woods...just ask!

Thanks in advance!

5 minutes from each other. No problem at all skiing each in a weekend, or even in the same day for that matter.

Check out Myer House B&B in Davis: http://www.dcski.com/articles/view_article.php?article_id=869

If you enjoy the Valley in early March, come back when a bunch of us may be up there for Snowy Luau Weekend (Timberline) 3/20-21.

Timberline/White Grass/Canaan Valley all within 5min of each other. Whitegrass is great cross country skiing if you are into that. If you don't find a B&B you like see link provided, I have a house 150 yrds from the slopes at TLine.
