http://www.mammothmountain.com/MyMammoth/ (19" storm total) It is expected to snow another 10" or so before the storm ends tomorrow evening. You folks in metro DC/Baltimore are still ahead of us but not by much. It's still snowing here, lightly but continues to pile up. Patrol were bombing the cornice but didn't open it. I got some very good powder runs off #1 early - got in line 20 min before lift opening. As I expected half the population of LA showed up by 10 and it was tracked out by 11. Very foggy at times and I fell from vertigo a couple times. Almost got hit by young snowboarders many times. I took a long hot chocolate break at 10-10;30 then skied until almost 1 and quit. I sniffed and snooped and found short powder shots in the trees off 10, 5, 21 and when skiing down to the village gondola. A good day. Nevertheless I am going to June Mtn.

tomorrow, a great little known area that is natural snow only. June is 5-6 miles from Mammoth as the crow flies and 25 by road. My Mammoth pass is good there and I know some great powder runs in the trees that always have untracked 2 or more days after the storm.

# Mammoth's 30 odd chairs are known to the locals by their numbers, the order in which they were built, not their names. 1 is Broadway, 10 is Goldrush Express. I don't know about the others
