....well the title says it all...we have had about 27 more inches in the last 48 hours with about 6 more today and it is still snowing!!!!over 180 inches for the season so far...the conditions today where as good as I have ever seen...ski anywhere you want at high speeds...chest height drifts...face shots everywhere...there where about 20 folks skiing until 11:00 then about 10 more showed up...man it was crowded grin....I am sorry but as far as no crowds, terrain, tree skiing, and snow you are not going to get the same skiing experience anywhere in the Mid-Atlantic like you can in Canaan...not even close...

& I bet you were getting around without too much difficulty..unlike the Problems at Whitetail(Shame whitail thread)..when you live & ski in Real Mountains with Real Snow you enjoy Real Good Snow removal!!

Nice, we skied Canaan Tuesday afternoon in some real nice pow. Had to bug out to get home but it was good. I saw some rain move in on the radar later that night is there a junky layer in there somewhere?

...yeah the first 4 inches tuesday night where a little wet, but no rain for sure...yeah there is a junky layer-the ground is about 4 feet under there some where...I don't think anybody is realizing just how good the conditions are up here now or how good they usually are-it's a secret paradise...

what tucker said.... it snowed all day yesterday also. the pow is bottomless...bottom-less. its ridiculous! the only words uttered by people skiing ive heard is "holy sh*t" or "oh my god"

better than it was last month when stuff was prime... holy....

Tl/Canaan Vly has now caught up in the snowfall dept to the snowiest place on the east coast..Jay Peak,VT. Thats our oficial Obs guy VS thier Resort #'s for what it is worth. Forget Midwest Rockies..They will have to catch up to the Valley for once!..Our Lakes just cannot compete with the Mighty Pacific so I will not even try to add those stats..We don't need that kind of snow anyway..we can't get anybody up to ski past Snowy Luau anyway!...EPIC is the Word for now..enjoy it while it Lasts!...& remember..it Ain't over till the Fat Lady in the Tight Ski Pants Sings!!!!
