Conditions at WTG have been nice almost all season. That's not a surprise if you have skied there this year. Been there about 14 times this season and 12 of 14 days were very good.
Was there on Tuesday 2/16 and conditions were great all day. Groomed with a few inches of powder from the night before in places. Unfortunately, the wind was strong so that went away quickly but the skiing was good. They were making dry snow in a few places but it was easy to ski through especially with the demos I was testing.
In the Highlands ALMOST everything was groomed and very fast. There was no ice at the bottom of Lower Cliffhanger or Devils Elbow as you will sometimes encounter.
Outer Limits was the exception as it was bumped top to bottom. I am trying to get comfortable on bumps and it felt like the trail went on forever.
One of the Brazilian lift attendants had a sign advertising 'Free Hug a Brazilian Day'. Seemed to be working for him.
