To the DCSkiers heading to Utah in near future, the mid mountain base at Alta is finally over 100".
Enjoy and be safe!

It dumped primarily on Wed. night, with another 4-6" during the day yesterday for a storm total of 14. Yesterday was great all day and this morning was too. However at about noon the temp. went into the hi 30s with bright sun and the powder got gloppy except in the trees. There is a weekend storm predicted but it is AGAIN frown going to split with half the snow going north into Idaho and the other half south into AZ. This has been a pattern all winter and is the reason why the Wasatch is at only 60% of normal snowpack. I would not be deterred however, Alta never disappoints.

Have fun F&S. I am very happy for the great year WV is having. But don't cry for me. I'm having fun here in the very different terrain of the Wasatch.

Ya, happened in early Feb also. frown

Mr. Fish, another reason why Wolf Creek is doing a lot better than Summit County.

As Denis said earlier, the snow belt may have moved this year, but the mountains haven't.
